Who Pays What
Snap the receipt, tap who had what, and everyone pays their exact share with tax and tip.
Who Pays What is a bill-splitting app for iPhone. Scan a receipt or pick a photo, and the app reads it right on your device, filling in the items, tax, service charge, and total. Everything is checked against the printed subtotal and total, so a misread line gets flagged before anyone pays. No receipt? You can type the amounts in by hand.
Pick the people at the table, then tap what each of them had — an appetizer or a bottle of wine can be shared between any number of people. You can also split evenly or just work out the tip. Tax and tip are shared in proportion to what each person ordered, and the totals add up to the cent. Choose 15, 18, 20, or 22% or any percentage you like, on the pre-tax or post-tax total. If the bill already includes a service charge, the tip starts at 0% so nobody tips twice, and you can round each share or the whole bill up to the dollar.
Send the result to your group chat as a receipt-style image or as text — your friends don’t need the app. Pro is a one-time $2.99 purchase, not a subscription, and adds Venmo payment links, your full split history, and a share card without the watermark. The app is available in English, Korean, and Spanish, with no account, no ads, and no tracking.
