ItchLog(이하 “앱”, “당사”)는 개발자 황승민(이하 “개발자”)이 개인 개발자 자격으로 운영합니다. 본 개인정보처리방침은 ItchLog가 어떤 정보를 수집하고, 어떻게 이용하며, 이용자가 어떤 권리를 갖는지 설명합니다.

ItchLog는 증상을 기록하는 로거(logger)입니다. 앱은 어떠한 진단·치료·의학적 조언도 제공하지 않습니다. 앱은 기록된 데이터를 바탕으로 기기 안에서 간단한 통계(음식·생활 요인과 증상 변화의 관찰)를 보여줍니다. 이 계산은 기기에서만 이루어지며 외부로 전송되지 않고, 진단이나 원인 판단이 아닙니다.

1. 수집하는 개인정보 항목

가. 계정 정보

회원가입 시 이메일 주소와 비밀번호를 수집하거나, Apple/Google 로그인을 이용하는 경우 해당 서비스가 제공하는 식별자·이름·이메일 주소를 수집합니다(Apple의 “이메일 가리기” 기능 사용 시 실제 이메일은 가려집니다). 이는 계정을 식별하고 Firebase Authentication을 통해 기기 간 데이터를 동기화하기 위한 목적으로만 사용됩니다.

나. 건강 및 피트니스 정보 (Apple HealthKit)

이용자가 권한을 허용한 경우, ItchLog는 건강 앱으로부터 수면 시간과 운동(땀 흘림 감지) 데이터를 읽어옵니다. 이 데이터는 오직 일일 기록의 항목(예: 수면의 질 슬라이더, “땀” 트리거 자동 제안)을 자동으로 미리 채우는 용도로만 사용되며, 이용자의 일일 기록 데이터의 일부로 저장됩니다. HealthKit 접근 권한은 iOS 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 건강 → ItchLog에서 언제든지 철회할 수 있습니다.

다. 위치 및 날씨 정보

위치 권한을 허용한 경우, ItchLog는 대략적인 위치 정보를 이용해 Apple WeatherKit 및 Open-Meteo 대기질 API로부터 해당 지역의 기온, 습도, 자외선 지수, 대기질 지수(AQI)를 조회합니다. 이러한 조회에 필요한 범위를 넘어서는 정밀 GPS 좌표는 별도로 저장하지 않으며, 조회 결과인 날씨/대기질 값만 해당 날짜의 환경 기록에 저장됩니다. 위치 권한은 iOS 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 위치 서비스 → ItchLog에서 언제든지 철회할 수 있습니다.

라. 사진

이용자는 신체 부위 지도(body map)의 특정 표시에 사진을 첨부할 수 있습니다(예: 악화 부위 기록). 사진은 이용자가 사진 보관함에서 직접 선택하며(앱 내 카메라 촬영 기능 없음), 해당 기록과 연결되어 Firebase Storage에 업로드됩니다. 사진은 이용자가 직접 첨부를 선택한 경우에만 업로드됩니다.

마. 이용자가 직접 입력하는 증상 및 생활 기록

앱의 핵심 데이터로, 신체 부위별 중증도/가려움 표시, 음식 기록, 컨디션 메모(수면의 질, “장 컨디션이 안 좋았어요” 등 단순 토글), 제품/루틴 기록(보습제 사용 등), 환경 노출 항목(담배 연기, 꽃가루, 반려동물, 섬유 접촉 등)이 포함됩니다.

바. 구독 및 결제 정보

ItchLog는 선택적 유료 구독을 제공하며, 결제는 전적으로 Apple의 StoreKit / App Store 결제 시스템을 통해 처리됩니다. 당사는 이용자의 카드 정보 등 결제 수단 정보를 전혀 수집·저장하지 않습니다. Apple이 결제를 직접 처리하며, 앱은 구독 상태(활성/만료, 요금제)만 전달받습니다.

사. 수집하지 않는 정보

ItchLog는 어떠한 분석(Analytics) SDK, 광고 SDK, 앱/사이트 간 추적 도구도 사용하지 않습니다. Firebase Analytics를 포함한 어떠한 추적 도구도 의도적으로 포함하지 않습니다.

2. 개인정보의 수집 및 이용 목적

수집한 정보는 다음 목적으로만 이용합니다.

• 계정 운영 및 기기 간 기록 동기화 (Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Storage)
• 건강/날씨/대기질 데이터를 활용한 일일 기록 자동 채움(이용자 편의 목적)
• 앱 내에서 이용자 본인의 신체 부위 지도, 기록 히스토리, 사진을 표시
• Apple을 통한 구독 상태 처리
• 이용자가 보낸 문의 응대

당사는 이용자의 데이터를 광고 목적으로 이용하지 않으며, 어떠한 제3자에게도 판매하지 않습니다.

3. 개인정보의 저장 및 보안

이용자의 데이터는 Google이 운영하는 Firebase(Firestore 데이터베이스, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Storage)를 통해 저장됩니다.

국외 이전

Firebase 인프라의 특성상 데이터는 미국을 포함하여 이용자의 거주 국가 외부에 위치한 서버에 저장·처리될 수 있습니다. 이전되는 항목은 위 1항에서 열거한 계정 정보, 건강/위치 파생 데이터, 사진, 이용자가 입력한 기록이며, 이전받는 자는 Google LLC(Firebase)이고, 이전 목적은 서비스 제공을 위한 데이터베이스·인증·저장소 운영입니다. 전송 구간은 암호화(HTTPS/TLS)되며, Firebase 보안 규칙을 통해 인증된 본인만 자신의 데이터를 읽고 쓸 수 있도록 접근이 제한됩니다.

인프라 로그 및 관리자 접근

ItchLog는 어떠한 분석(Analytics) SDK도 사용하지 않지만(1-사 참조), 이와 별개로 Firebase/Google 인프라는 보안, 부정 이용 방지, 과금 목적으로 모든 요청에 대해 IP 주소, 요청 시각, 로그인 방식 등 기술적 메타데이터를 자동으로 기록합니다. 이는 행동 추적이 아닌 표준적인 인프라 로그이며, 당사가 임의로 끌 수 없습니다. 또한 개발자는 앱 관리자로서 지원·디버깅·서비스 운영 목적상 Firebase 콘솔 등을 통해 Firestore/Storage에 저장된 원본 기록을 열람할 수 있는 기술적 권한을 가지고 있으며, 이 권한은 개별 이용자의 행동을 프로파일링하거나 분석하는 데 사용되지 않습니다.

각 서비스 제공자는 당사를 대신하여 데이터를 처리하는 방식에 대해 자체적인 개인정보처리방침을 갖고 있습니다.

5. 개인정보의 보유 및 이용 기간

이용자의 데이터는 계정이 활성 상태로 유지되는 동안 보관됩니다. 이용자는 앱의 설정 > 계정 삭제에서 직접 계정을 삭제할 수 있으며, 기록·사진·프로필 데이터는 당사 시스템에서 즉시 삭제됩니다. 단, 관련 법령에 따라 보관해야 하는 경우(예: Apple이 자체 정책에 따라 보관하는 구독 결제 기록 등)는 제외됩니다.

6. 정보주체의 권리

이용자는 언제든지 다음을 할 수 있습니다.

• 앱 내에서 개별 기록을 직접 조회, 수정, 삭제
• iOS 설정에서 HealthKit·위치 권한 철회
• 앱의 설정 > 계정 삭제에서 계정 전체를 직접 삭제(즉시 삭제)

당사는 이러한 요청에 대해 합리적인 기간 내(통상 30일 이내)에 응답하고 처리합니다.

7. 아동의 개인정보 보호

ItchLog는 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다. 만약 아동이 당사에 개인정보를 제공한 사실을 알게 된 경우 문의해 주시면 즉시 삭제하겠습니다.

8. 건강정보(민감정보)에 관한 특별 조치

ItchLog가 수집하는 수면·운동·신체 증상 기록 등은 「개인정보 보호법」상 민감정보에 해당할 수 있습니다. 이에 따라 당사는 다음을 준수합니다.

• HealthKit 데이터를 광고 또는 마케팅 목적으로 이용하지 않습니다.
• HealthKit 데이터를 판매하거나 데이터 브로커·광고 플랫폼과 공유하지 않습니다.
• HealthKit 데이터는 본 방침에서 설명한 건강 기록 기능 제공 목적으로만 이용합니다.
• 앱 최초 이용(온보딩) 시 이용자로부터 건강정보 등 민감정보 수집·이용에 대한 별도 동의를 받습니다.

9. 개인정보처리방침의 변경

본 방침은 필요에 따라 변경될 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경이 있는 경우 위의 "최종 수정일"을 갱신하고, 필요 시 앱 내 공지를 통해 안내합니다.

ItchLog (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is developed by an individual developer (Min Hwang, “the Developer”). This Privacy Policy explains what information ItchLog collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

ItchLog is a symptom logger. It does not diagnose, treat, or give medical advice. Based on your logs, the App shows simple on-device statistics (observed relationships between food/lifestyle factors and changes in your symptoms). These calculations run only on your device, are never sent anywhere, and are not a diagnosis or a determination of cause.

1. Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect an email address and password, or, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the identifier, name, and email address those services provide (Apple lets you hide your real email via “Hide My Email”). This is used solely to identify your account and sync your data across devices via Firebase Authentication.

b. Health & Fitness Data (Apple HealthKit)

If you grant permission, ItchLog reads sleep duration and workout data (“sweaty workout” detection) from the Health app. This data is used only to automatically pre-fill fields in your daily log (e.g. a sleep-quality slider, a “sweat” trigger suggestion) and is stored as part of your daily records in our database. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → ItchLog.

c. Location & Weather Data

If you grant location permission, ItchLog uses your coarse location (via Apple WeatherKit and the Open-Meteo Air Quality API) to fetch local temperature, humidity, UV index, and air quality index for the current day. We do not store your raw GPS coordinates beyond what is needed to make these lookups; the resulting weather/AQI values are saved as part of your daily environment log. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → ItchLog.

d. Photos

You may choose to attach photos of a specific body-map mark (e.g. to document a flare-up). Photos are selected by you from your photo library (no in-app camera capture) and are uploaded to Firebase Storage, linked to that specific log entry. Photos are only ever uploaded when you actively choose to attach one.

e. Symptom & Lifestyle Logs You Enter

This is the core data of the App: per-body-zone severity/itch marks, food entries, condition notes (e.g. sleep quality, a general “gut felt off” toggle), product/routine entries (e.g. moisturizer use), and environmental exposure chips (e.g. smoke, pollen, pets, fabric contact) that you log yourself.

f. Subscription & Payment Information

ItchLog offers an optional paid subscription, processed entirely through Apple’s StoreKit / App Store billing. We never receive or store your payment card details — Apple handles the transaction and only informs the App of your subscription status (active/expired, plan).

g. What We Do NOT Collect

ItchLog does not use any analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or cross-app/cross-site tracking. We deliberately do not include Firebase Analytics or any similar tool.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above only to:

• Operate your account and sync your logs across your devices (Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Storage)
• Pre-fill parts of your daily log with your Health/weather/AQI data, purely for your convenience
• Display your own body map, history, and photos back to you within the App
• Process your subscription status via Apple
• Respond to support requests you send us

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Firebase (Firestore database, Firebase Authentication, and Firebase Storage), a service operated by Google. Firebase infrastructure may store and process data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your data is protected by Firebase security rules scoped to your authenticated account, so only you can read or write your own records.

Infrastructure Logs & Administrator Access

Independently of any analytics SDK (ItchLog uses none — see Section 1g), Firebase/Google infrastructure automatically logs certain technical metadata for every request, such as your IP address, request timestamp, and sign-in method, for security, abuse-prevention, and billing purposes. This is standard infrastructure logging, not behavioral tracking, and we cannot disable it. In addition, as the App’s administrator, the Developer has the technical ability to view raw records stored in Firestore/Storage (e.g. via the Firebase Console) for support, debugging, and service-operation purposes; this access is not used to profile or analyze individual users’ behavior.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active. You can delete your account yourself in the App under Settings > Delete Account; your associated logs, photos, and profile data are deleted from our systems immediately, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal obligations (e.g. transaction records for subscriptions, which are retained by Apple per its own policies).

6. Your Rights & Choices

You may, at any time:

• Access, edit, or delete individual logs directly within the App
• Revoke HealthKit or Location permissions via iOS Settings
• Delete your entire account directly in the App under Settings > Delete Account (takes effect immediately)
• Request a copy of your data by emailing smhwang0715@gmail.com

We will respond to and process such requests within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

7. Children’s Privacy

ItchLog is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Our Commitment on Health Data

In line with Apple’s HealthKit guidelines, ItchLog:

• Does not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing purposes
• Does not sell HealthKit data, or share it with data brokers or advertising platforms
• Uses HealthKit data solely to provide the health-tracking features described in this policy

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App.
